03 / TikTok Shop & sourcing

Build a sourcing shortlist.
Verify before you compare.

Collect product and SKU detail, explore marketplace candidates, then check whether the offers are really comparable. A similar photo or lower listing price is only a starting point.

Runs on Apify. Review current inputs, pricing and costs before starting.

01 / INPUTS

Listing cards and SKU details solve different jobs.

TubeText’s TikTok Shop Data tool accepts supported US product, store and category URLs. It is a public-product research tool, not TikTok’s seller-account API for managing orders or fulfillment.

Broad shortlist

Listing cards

For store or category inputs, listing-card mode focuses on basic product information such as title, price, reported sold count and rating.

Variant research

Product details

Use detail mode when you need available SKU, stock, specification, shipping or shop information. Availability depends on the source.

The includeDetails option applies to store/category expansion, not direct product URLs. Review current inputs and pricing before choosing a batch. Result events and Actor Start are separate; a missing product is not a guarantee of a free run.

02 / COMPARABILITY

Check the item before checking the price.

A comparison row should preserve enough detail for another person to verify your choice. Use this checklist before treating two listings as alternatives:

  • Variant: exact size, color, material, model and bundle quantity.
  • Units: price per item, pack, lot or minimum order quantity.
  • Currency: preserve the reported currency. Do not mix USD and CNY into one price ranking.
  • Destination: shipping country, available delivery method and relevant restrictions.
  • Extra costs: shipping, duties, taxes, inspection and payment costs need separate verification.
  • Evidence: original URL, observation date and any missing or ambiguous fields.
Unknown is not zero.

A missing price is not a free product. A missing stock value is not proof of no stock. Keep unavailable data explicit.

03 / DISCOVERY

Supplier search produces leads, not guarantees.

The existing sourcing workflow searches Taobao/Tmall and AliExpress independently, with optional TikTok Shop URLs. It does not match identical SKUs automatically. Similar search terms can retrieve different sizes, bundles and materials.

A separate product-photo supplier recipe passes AliExpress results to Alibaba & Yiwu Supplier Finder. Visually similar listings are candidates to investigate, not verified manufacturers or proof of identical goods.

Before buying, independently verify the seller, specification, sample quality, minimum order quantity and applicable compliance requirements. Do not present the gap between a retail listing and a wholesale-looking offer as a verified margin.

04 / REPEATABLE RESEARCH

Make comparisons dated and reversible.

Save each original export before summarizing it. Record collection time and source identifiers in your own comparison sheet, and retain the raw fields beside any derived values.

For repeated observations, compare the same product, region and variant. A change in a platform’s displayed sold count is a change in that source signal, not independently verified daily orders or a demand forecast. Missing rows and inconsistent units should go to review, not into a growth calculation.

The current n8n documentation describes currency-specific price groups. That documentation is not live runtime verification. Review its README for supported fields and compatibility notes. Credentials, destinations, recurring schedules and downstream decisions remain yours to configure.

05 / NEXT STEP

Choose the smallest useful workflow.

Start with product detail if you already have a few US TikTok Shop URLs. Use the existing sourcing guide if you need a cross-marketplace shortlist. Downloading an example is different from executing its Actors: execution and connected services can incur charges.
